HELLO!

Luana Di Pasquale is an award-winning genre writer/director and co-producer who has a deep interest in storytelling, multi-dimensional characters and genre films. Right after her graduation's short film called Interference, Luana started her career as a self-shooting PD (producer/director) and editor by creating short-form video content - promos and documentaries - for various clients: starting from Vladivar Vodka brand, she went on creating video content for charities and cable TVs. During this time she also began to be involved in art projects, collaborating for three years with the acclaimed, New York-based feminist collective the Guerrilla Girls on Tour, creating video content for their theatrical show around the world. During this time she also worked as a part of a miscellaneous crew: camera operator for Don’ Letts' Love Music & Hate Racism 08, produced by Pulse Films and broadcast on C4, director’s assistant for award-winning director Mike Figgis's Love Live Long feature film produced by Red Mullet and editor for the acclaimed artist/filmmaker Ken McMullen Arrows of Time video installations, exhibited in Lisbon, Paris and London. Luana then went on to produce and direct Love Talk, a lifestyle TV show for Record TV which was broadcast in the UK on SKY channel 203: her duties were to re-brand the show and bring new VTs concepts. She then went to work as a Project Manager and Casting Director on Gala Bingo TV commercials produced by Cravens Creative Agency, and more recently as an assistant director for Arran Bowyn’s commercial Feral Youth produced by Prettybird UK. 


Luana's latest work as a writer/director is Keep Mum, a critically acclaimed and multi-award-winning short psychological thriller/horror about domestic trauma and the cycle of domestic abuse. Luana also co-produced Keep Mum under Lunadipas Films company with Reblis Films in association with Qareyfilm. Keep Mum ended its two years run on the festival circuit with 31 official selections, 14 nominations and 9 wins, including Best International Director at the Oregon Scream Week Horror Film Festival 19 in Portland (USA), Best Actress at the Portobello Film Festival 21. Distributed by Mbur Films, Keep Mum is out on home entertainment: Amazon Prime UK, Amazon Prime US, Sofy.TV, Plex.TV and it is broadcast on Short TV in the US, South America, UK, and Europe. Luana has regulars press interviews, she is also gets invited to horror talks and Q & A and lately she has been participating as a judge in genre film festivals such as Nola Horror International Film Festival (Los Angeles, USA) and the Dark Hedges International Horror Film Festival (Belfast, UK). In 2022, Luana re-branded Lunadipas Films into BAD GIRL//GOOD WOMAN FILMS, a production company that focuses on exploring the dark side of the feminine psyche, developing her first genre feature film My Enemy Within as part of a slate of feature film projects.
